Gauteng High Court Directive

The Gauteng High Court has introduced mandatory mediation for all civil trials to address unconstitutional delays in the court system.

The court now requires a formal report from an accredited mediator before a trial date can be granted, to enable cases capable of such settlement to be resolved through professional mediation.
